DELHI: Psychometric tests for pilots of Indian airlines are all set to begin early next year. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has asked the Air Force-run Institute of Aerospace Medicine (IAM) to finalise the details of these tests — the tests to be conducted and at what intervals — within three months. “Once we get the final modalities from them and the government approves, the psycho tests for pilots should start within the first half of next year,” DGCA chief M Sathiyavathy said.
